GSL x Miss Kicks.
We did tell you that girls football at Bloomsbury is taking off.
First, the Women’s Super League TV deal. Second, our very own Maria Hasler awarded the UCFB Sports Entrepreneur Award, securing £5,000 investment into the Girls Super League. And now, Bloomsbury Football are delighted to announce that the GSL has partnered with Miss Kick.

Miss Kick is the UK’s first female football brand. It was founded in June 2018 by 21-year-old Grace Vella, a former Liverpool and Manchester City player. Growing up, she felt that her gender held her back. Whether it was funny looks, ill fitted kit, financial burdens or lack of playing opportunities – being a girl just seemed harder. This inspired her to launch Miss Kick, a movement to address these issues and create social change in football and wider society.
Miss Kick are on a mission to unite the global women and girls football community and believe in empowering one another so that we can create positive change for girls and women in football.
As well as supporting us, increasing our brand exposure by sharing GSL content across their channels, Miss Kick will be sending down Miss Kick headbands, leaflets with discount codes, and Miss Kick back-packs as well as water bottles for the ‘Player of the Tournament’ to our GSL tournaments.
To be affiliated with a ‘movement’ so bold, one that breaks ground and challenges the status quo and is unapologetic in their statements and not afraid to talk about the inequalities they experience. One that’s active, believing in the power of doing more and being more. One that’s positive, regardless of the situation, understanding that we are the change we want to see in the world. One that’s real, not afraid to admit when things are tough but take it for what it is so they can inspire one another to get back up and keep going. And one that’s, maybe best of all, giving: donating a percentage of all their sales to the Miss Kick Foundation, a social enterprise that’s aiming to level the playing field and inspire more girls to get involved in the sport that we all love. A ‘movement’ so progressive, inspiring and emboldening.
Miss Kick are the best partners to help us improve the lives of young people in London. Not only do they do they empower their own community, the female football community, but us too.
