Where have you previously coached?

Bloomsbury being the first academy I have  ever worked at as a coach, I previously coached for holiday camps all over London. After completing my FA Level 1 Coaching Badge last summer, I joined Bloomsbury Football Foundation, and have been working here ever since.

What coach do you aspire to be like?

Sir Alex Ferguson - is one of the greatest manages in the history of football. His tactical and organizational skills and the relationships he built with his football players are unique. It is important to maintain good relationships with your football players both on and off the pitch.

Sir Alex Ferguson is one of the greatest managers in the history of football and a great source of inspiration to me. His tactical and organizational skills were second to none, but it was the relationships that he managed to build with his players that were truly unique. I believe it is of the utmost importance to maintain good relationships with your players both on and off the pitch and Sir Alex managed to do that consistently over such a long period of time at Manchester United.

What is your fondest football achievement?

There are quite a few great moments that I recall from my years as a football player. The one that clearly stands out to me most is my debut for the Cyprus National Team in 2014. It was a friendly against Japan at the Saitama Stadium, and playing in front of almost 60,000 people was an awe inspiring experience.

What is the most rewarding aspect of coaching at Bloomsbury Football Academy?

Many aspects of Bloomsbury Football Academy stand out to me. Notably, the level of professionalism within the club, the communication between coaches and players and the quality of the players themselves all make the club a great place to coach. The most rewarding aspects to me are the ability to watch players grow and improve and the opportunities provided at Bloomsbury for me to expand and improve my skills as a coach.

What football club do you support?

Manchester United FC

Who is your favorite player?

Two of my favourite players are both midfielders, Steven Gerrard and Andres Iniesta. I admire them for their many talents, their dedication and their multiple achievements.
